Sea, lakes, mountains, national parks, small territory with great diversity and pleasant prices. All this is offered by one of the youngest European countries which was created in 2006 by seceding from Serbia. Yes, you may already guess that we are talking about Montenegro - Crna Gora. It bears the title of the most ecologically friendly country in the world thanks to 54 km2 of untouched forest in the Biogradska Gora National Park. 60% of the territory is occupied by mountains with elevations over 1000 meters above sea level.

Corsica is the greenest and most mountainous island in the Mediterranean Sea. Peaks reaching the heights of our Tatra Mountains, white beaches, and fortified towns create a perfect idyll for a summer holiday. The capital city Ajaccio is even the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte. Cheap flights from Vienna for €80 are often available in June or September through the airline Eurowings.

We have selected beaches that have impressed us the most in the area around Malaga and Gibraltar. You can find them clearly marked on our travel map.

Waiting at the runways while a plane crosses the road is an experience you won't have just anywhere. We're talking about British Gibraltar, which you can easily reach from Malaga Airport. Down below, there is a lively hustle and bustle, but when you take a cable car up to the "Rock of Gibraltar," you'll find yourself in wild nature with macaques. After a slightly challenging hike, you can cool off on the sandy beaches on the east coast.

Malaga in the south of Spain is easily accessible today thanks to several low-cost airlines, such as Level, Ryanair, or Wizzair. We have decided to combine the port city with an adventurous trip to Gibraltar and the most beautiful beaches in the area. If you have enough time, the historical cities of Alhambra, Ronda, and Cadiz are also worth a visit. We recommend them all.

Finland is the country of a thousand lakes, but did you know that it is also the homeland of the sauna? After all, what are 187,888 lakes compared to 2 million saunas? :)

Are you tired of cycling around your neighborhood? Try a slightly bigger challenge with a route of almost 400 km. And don't worry, even a less trained biker can handle it. The route mostly follows cycling paths and quiet roads with a gentle descent along the beautiful Danube, about 99% of the time.

Crete is the largest Greek island. It is considered the cradle of European civilization. The island was the center of the Minoan civilization, and according to Greek mythology, the ruler of the Olympic gods, Zeus, was born here. We decided to focus on its western part, where there are unique pink beaches. And literally.
