The western side of the island offers the most beautiful beaches, the eastern side tropical forests and waterfalls. The island's highest mountain, Mauna Kea, has an elevation of 4205m above sea level. However, if measured from its underwater base, it is the tallest mountain in the world with a total height of 10,203m.

Bali is a small Hindu island in predominantly Muslim Indonesia. It is located on the eighth parallel south of the equator, so the sun always rises and sets at the same time here and stays in the sky for only 12 hours. All year round.
