Gran Canaria – Escape to the warmth

0
It is December 2011, and anyone who thinks that it is not possible to swim during this time is mistaken. The Canary Islands, or the "Islands of Eternal Spring," will quickly prove them wrong. Ryanair operates the Bratislava - Las Palmas route non-stop even in winter, and we managed to book tickets for €88. This time, we focused on exploring the entire island and the capital, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Mallorca – Wanderings around the island (north and west)

0
Rushed Bratislava, colder weather, nervous people sneezing at every step, unbearable boss, strict financial regime, and little vacation. These may be reasons why you dreamt today that you were somewhere on a deserted island in the position of a reclining shooter, drinking mixed drinks and surrounded by smiling native dancers.

Hawaii – 19 Days in Paradise 3/3 – Return to Oahu

0
Our return to Oahu passed by very quickly. This time, from the right side of the plane, we could see the islands of Maui, Lanai, and Molokai, where lepers were once exiled. We are looking forward to exploring the North Shore, the world's largest natural maze at Pineapple Garden Maze, the east and southeast parts of the island with beautiful white beaches, and of course Waikiki.

Hawaii – 19 days in paradise 2/3 – The biggest and most diverse Big...

0
The Big Island (Hawaii) is the most diverse island, and that was one of the main reasons why we chose it. The western side of the island offers the most beautiful beaches, the eastern side tropical forests and waterfalls. The island's highest mountain, Mauna Kea, has an elevation of 4205m above sea level. However, if measured from its underwater base, it is the tallest mountain in the world with a total height of 10,203m.

Hawaii – 19 days in paradise 1/3 – Modern and beautiful Oahu

0
The Hawaiian Islands consist of 4 main islands - Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and Big Island. The name Hawai'i in Hawaiian means "home of the gods". The tropical climate on the Hawaiian Islands has two seasons: the rainy season (October to April) and the dry season (May to September). The water temperature hovers around a pleasant 25°C.

Gran Canaria – Three continents in one

0
At the end of 2010, Ryanair announced a new route from Bratislava to Las Palmas. A unique opportunity to fly to the Canary Islands directly from Bratislava was just waiting for the right deal. By the end of March, we managed to book round-trip tickets for 88€. Our second trip to the Canaries can begin.

Lanzarote – Journey to the Moon

0
It is the beginning of December and the temperature in Slovakia is below freezing point. How about cooling off in the ocean on the islands of eternal spring? We decided to visit one of the Canary Islands - Lanzarote. We combined two Ryanair flights - Brussels, Brussels - Lanzarote and hoped that nothing would happen during the transfer. The trip was successful and the lunar landscape of Lanzarote left a deep impression on us.

Sardinia – The Pearl of the Mediterranean

0
Not for nothing is it called the pearl of the Mediterranean. And when Ryanair starts flying there, it's a perfect combination for a low-cost trip in a beautiful setting. Yes, we're talking about the gorgeous Sardinia. After Sicily, it is the second largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. Our extended trip headed to the town of Alghero in the northwest of the island.

Mallorca – A proper party and a bit of swimming

0
What would you say to boarding a plane on Friday evening, starting with a night swim, continuing with a full day of swimming in the sea, sunbathing under a straw umbrella, a mega party in the busiest disco at night, a morning tour of Palma and then back on a plane to Slovakia? Unrealistic? All it takes is one well-planned weekend :)

Bari – Italian temperament on the beach

0
The new Ryanair destination came with a special offer right at the beginning, tickets for €6. Initially booked for 6 people, but our number ended up reduced to 4 and added another 5 people: one couple and a group of three led by a friend. It was the largest trip so far and a new experience with synchronizing such a big group.

Bora Bora without a travel agency

Do you dream of waking up one day in paradise? When God created the Earth, he poured half of his beauty into the island of Bora Bora. The name comes from Tahitian "Pora pora mai te pora", which translates to "created by the gods." A perfect half-circle with a dazzling turquoise lagoon, whose color transitions could not be painted even by the best painter. We fulfilled our dream of French Polynesia on the second attempt and will try to send you a piece of this paradise in our article. And maybe one day you will fulfill this dream too :)
